The Vehicle Remarketing Association (VRA) hosted its Technology Showcase on Tuesday at the Kassam Stadium, Oxford. As mentioned back in September IT Fleet Automotive was invited to demonstrate its FleetPlus software to the variety of guest speakers and industry specialists throughout the day.

Four members of the IT Fleet team, James Martin-Whymark (client relations), Sid Taylor (sales), Adam Porter (operations) and Vikki Downard (training), ventured to Oxfordshire to take part in the exhibition.

The first demonstration was delivered to John Davies, chairman of the VRA and Josef Hargrave, of Arup Goresight Innovation & Incubation, both of whom were guest speakers at the event.

The demo was deliberately succinct, with the intention of building intrigue about the FleetPlus brand and it appeared to work well with a great number of presentations to numerous on-lookers.

FleetPlus is a complete software solution designed to manage the diverse needs of the modern fleet professional, with the ability to manage in-house fleets efficiently and effectively. It is the perfect complement for a diverse number of markets to keep your fingers on the pulse of critical fleet information on a day-to-day basis.

The product was well received by industry experts and the team thoroughly enjoyed interacting and networking with like-minded remarketing professionals; each with the same vision of improving the efficiency of handling, selling, inspecting and transporting thousands of used fleet vehicles each year.

At the end of each FleetPlus demonstration the companies present were invited to leave a business card, which would enter them into a prize draw to win one of two ZTE tablet devices.

The two lucky winners were Steve Osborne, head of fleet management at Lex Autolease and Ian Camacho, de-fleet manager at GE Capital (both pictured).
