IT Fleet are looking for individuals who are self-motivated and able to communicate well with others to join our successful team of Self Employed Trade Plate Drivers. This Role is Monday to Friday.
Experience working as a Trade Plate Driver is not essential but applicants should display a professional manner, have common sense, familiar with technology, have a good knowledge of the UK roads and hold a UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
The role;
As this role is a field based position, daily duties will involve conducting vehicle inspections as well as delivering vehicles on trade plates from one location to another across the UK.
You will complete vehicle appraisals by using our latest hand held devices and technology system FleetPlus, this is one of the key responsibilities of the role. These devices are also used as phones and cameras for imaging purposes so being adept with technology is essential. You will regularly be meeting with customers to deliver vehicles in person and therefore strong customer service skills are essential. You will benefit from extensive training and work alongside a dedicated Transport team who allocate your work load and keep in touch with you throughout the day.
A tablet, fuel card, trade plates, insurance and a uniform will be provided to you after successful completion of the training course.

A good knowledge of the UK Road systems and a good geographical understanding is advantageous. You must have off road parking big enough to hold a Sprinter Van
For the role you must hold: * Hold a UK Licence for more than 2 years (EU Licence is not accepted) * No more than 6 points on your licence * No motoring offences on your licence within the past 5 years to include the DVLA codes:IN10, DR10, TT99 etc. * Off road parking .i.e. garage/driveway * A good knowledge of the UK Road systems and a good geographical understanding.
