We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our growing finance team. This key role involves raising invoices through our IT systems, assisting the Management Accountant with revenue accruals and monthly reconciliations in Sage, and managing ongoing query resolution in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Commercial Director, Financial Controller, and wider Accounts Team
• Ensure adherence to accounting timetables and reporting deadlines
• Raise monthly, weekly, and daily invoices within Sage, including preparing relevant analysis and supporting schedules
• Process ad-hoc recharges as requested
• Assist in preparing monthly revenue based accruals
• Liaise directly with customers to resolve queries promptly and effectively
• Provide cover for team absences, including purchase invoice processing and other ad-hoc accounting tasks (training will be given)
• Experience with Paperless or similar purchase invoicing systems is desirable although training can be given

Experience & Qualifications

• Ideally AAT part-qualified although not essential
• Proven experience in raising invoices and resolving financial queries
• Proficient user of Sage 50 or Sage 200 (essential)
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
